Who is Good Oaks?

My name is Matt Oakley, and I'm the owner of Good Oaks Lawn Service, LLC. As a 27-year-old homeowner here in Charleston South Carolina, I understand the pride that comes with owning and caring for a property. That's why my mission is simple: treat every client's home as if it were my own.

I started Good Oaks Lawn Service when I was just 16 years old and have spent more than a decade perfecting our offerings. I grew up on a 10-acre plot of land where my "rent" was cutting the grass, laying mulch, trimming the hedges, and anything else my father had on the agenda. In those early years, I ran Good Oaks out of our barn before eventually bringing the business with me to the Lowcountry.

As a one man owned and operated business, each day starts the same. I climb into my grandfather's 2003 Dodge Ram 3500, a truck he handed down to me before he passed away. It's a reminder of the values he taught me: work hard, be honest, and always do right by people. Even though he is no longer here, I still get to clock in with him every morning when I fire it up.
